Head Trauma

In one weeks time Daniel's head has taken a beating. While at a park he was sitting on park bench so nice. Decided to stand up . Slipped hit his head then fell to the ground and hit his head again on the ground. His 3 year old 2nd cousin did a running tackle to him to the ground and he hit his head. Daniel managed to trip a few times in the house and hit his head. Jordan was carrying him on his shoulders and forgot about a wall and Daniel hit his head. Daniel and I were downstairs doing laundry and he fell somehow (he is trying to run) and fell into the corner of a metal air conditioner. Which gave him and inch cut on his forehead. Blood gushing out. We thing it went to the bone....We decided stitches would be a nightmare to hold him down for. So we did the butterfly bandaids and it seems to have healed up really nice. Then to top it off. We were at our ward picnic. Daniel ran out in front of a kid swinging a metal bat. Which caused an indent that worried us so we took him to the ER. They said he is okay but you can see an indent on the x-ray. It didn't damage anything... THANKGOODNESS... what a week.

You think we would win the worst parent award after this week. But to our defense we really watch him carefully. When outside I think parents think we are weird that we follow Daniel everywhere while they all sit and chat...well this is why...He is a curious active little guy...Sometimes he is just to fast or we turn around once second...I sure hope Daniel will learn some boundaries soon...

I read ben the story... the first thing he said was, "I would reccomend a helmet." Then he said, "alongside one of those leashes."
