The funeral was bittersweet. It was sad because we will miss Grandpa...However, it brought family and relatives together. My Mom got special permission to come home for two weeks. This was such a treat! I have not seen my mom for a year. She has never met Daniel so it was such a special reunion. Dad we missed you!
I was able to see cousins that I have not seen in years. It was great to catch up. It was really neat to see the legacy and posterity my Grandparents have left behind. This kind of reunion may never happen again, so I tried to enjoy it. I know my Grandparents would have enjoyed that.
