Soccer For Daniel and Eva

Daniel was on the Blue Cougars this year for YMCA Soccer. They don't really keep score or anything but the kids sure know. I think we won almost every game and Daniel scored at almost everyone too. He really as developed into quite the athlete and is fast and quick. He has such a sweet personality and carries that to the field. If someone falls he helps them up. He felt bad if the other team didn't score, or if if the other team never got to throw the ball in, he wanted them to have a turn. He played offensive, defense, and goalie but quickly learned he enjoyed offense so he could score. He has since moved on from soccer and awaits for Dad to come home to give him "basketball lessons".

Our sweet Eva really wanted to play soccer this year. So we let her have a shot. I just can't get over how cute she looks in her shorts. :) I don't think I have ever laughed so hard by watching her games. There were kids on both teams crying, on the floor, running away etc... Eva was super happy every game and would just run back and forth and occasionally kick the ball around. Her last two games she was just about the only one on the field for our team and scored 3 goals her last game. She said she had fun but wants to do ballet now. (How she even knows what that is I don't even know.)

Kids playing sports is one of my favorite things. Especially soccer, how they just swarm around the ball!
