We had Hawaiian Pirate stacks for Dinner

Got our map and sword for our treasure hunt
Walked the plank
Then that is where it happened. The high jumps mat behind this picture there is a swing hanging from the ceiling. Daniel has been swinging on it all month. Well today he was extra brave and excited he was swinging and was running from side to side off the mat and and lost his grip and landed flat on his face. He turned blue for a moment and stopped breathing. (literally knocked the wind out of him) He was crying uncontrollably. Nothing could console him not even presents or cake! Thats when I knew he was really Really REALLY hurt. He began to throw up and we headed to the ER. After a CT scan, some Zofran, and pain meds he started to feel better. He thankfully only had a concussion and some awesome bruising.
He opened up his presents at midnight and loved them but still wasn't in the mood for cake. Even months later he still talks about how we didn't eat cake for his birthday. Maybe I will have to make another pirate cake to make up for it.
We are so grateful for our little 4 year old. He is such a tender hearted little boy who is very helpful and thoughtful to his sisters. He loves sports, playing outside and riding his bike and scooter. He is into playing superheroes and loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Daniel is very good to remind us to say prayers, have FHE and read our scriptures. He loves singing Primary songs and always wants us to tell him stories of Nephi. We love our little Man he brings us so much joy!
