Daniel is Three!

Our handsome boy turned three at the end of last month. We have a three year old...that is crazy. What a joy Daniel is in our family, he has such a sweet and caring personality. He is always so sweet to his sister Eva and if she starts to cry he will rush to her aid. He loves to share FOOD with his friends. He will come inside all by himself and bring out a box of crackers or otterpops and make sure that all the neighborhood kids has some. (We need to work on asking Mom first)

Daniel loves to play outside, he is always rolling down the hills, climbing trees or getting into the dirt. He loves the park, to ride his bike, and play anything that involves a ball. He loves to play trains, legos, build airplanes, play Star Wars with his lightsaber and the list goes on.

He will finally sit down and let me read him books. He likes to read them to me as well.
He loves to sing and is into letters. He loves to point to letters on signs or clothes and say the sound. (Thank you Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD)

Daniel is all about routine and reminds me how things are done. He reminds me if we forget to say prayers, read scriptures, brush teeth, or anything else. He is my little helper.

Daniel loves to say prayers all by himself. He is so thoughtful to pray for all his toys individually, everyones food individually, his friends etc...

Daniel opening his presents. He got a Buzz lightyear (bought for 8 dollars at a consignment sale.) He loves it and sleeps with it along with his Bear. He also got a bigger bike. (My awesome neighbor gave it to us. So grateful for them.) He loves His bike as well and feels like a big boy.

 Stats
39.61 inches 90%
34 lbs 6.4 oz 75%

Tall and skinny like Daddy.

Daniel has improved greatly on his speech but still no desire in the potty. These are our two goals this next year. Wish us luck.
Daniel requested Waffles for dinner. Works for me!

Since Daniel has been so into his Light saber we asked him if he wanted a light saber cake. He agreed and this is what we came up with. Jordan was the brains behind it and I was his assistant. I think it turned out rather well. We couldn't store it anywhere so Daniel had to stare at it all day and not touch it. He did really good and was so excited about it.
We invited a few of our neighbors and Daniels best buds to join us for cake and ice cream. We are so sad that most of them are moving in a few weeks.
