FHE with a twist
So Monday night Jordan had two flag football games. At 6 and 7. Daniel and I showed up at 6:30. We caught the end of it and they won of course. But there second game was switched to 8. So we decided since we were downtown we would go to a park for FHE. We got there and as I shut the door I ask Jordan if he had the keys. He was in his gym shorts with no pockets and said no. I for once in my life didn't bring my bag because we were going to be playing and didn't think I needed it. I thought Jordan had the keys because he drove and he thought I had them because he handed me them in the car as I was getting out and put them in my bag with all my other stuff that I left in the car. He drove with my keys but thought he grabbed his keys because he doesnt like carrying around my big thing of keys. Anyway, we were keyless, phoneless and moneyless (because my bag was in car). Jordan took off trying to find a cop to help us out. He was running for like an hour. I stood by the car for 20 mins or so but decided downtown Omaha on a busy street was probably not the safest when weirdos started rolling down there windows saying stuff....come on really I was with my son. Anyway, there was a courtyard Marriott across the street. I explained the situation. They gave me a phone to call police station, gave Daniel some toys, water, and let us hang out in hotel. (I need to write there manager a letter..They were so kind) Anyway, Jordan finally came back told him the police don't over that service anymore after someone sued them for damage to car so they stopped. We would have to call a locksmith. After 40 mins of waiting the locksmith came and opened the car in 5 seconds and 40 bucks for his work. At least it wasn't a 100, which is what we were thinking. We headed back to the game. Jordan was so worried they would have to forfeit his game. We got there at 8:40 for the last 5 mins or so. They were playing 6 on 7 and it was tied. They were so excited to see him. Jordan put pressure on the QB and they threw the ball away leaving his team with a chance for a touchdown and the win. So in all the night ended well. Things could have been worse but we are blessed. Oh to explain the picture. The only thing I brought with me was my camera. So this was a pic Daniel and I took while in the hotel waiting.
