Instead of going to the opening ceremonies of the world series to see the fireworks...we thought we would avoid the lines and watch them on our street. We live a couple blocks from the stadium. We could hear the cheers when a score was being made etc... The excitement is fun to be around but has made driving in and out a little hard...So we have to make sure to leave a little earlier and know the game schedule.

ben doesn't like fifreworks. growing up he went around iwth his dad and the fire crew to put out fires.
i'm so glad tommy asked what the world series was for...i was starting to feel dumb.
