For memorial day we headed to the "Heartland of America Park" to feed the ducks and look at the monuments they have for those who have and continue to fight for our freedom. The picture in another post of Jordan and Daniel by the water is the same park. We then went to "Winter Quarters" to the Mormon Pioneer Cemetery. We figured it was very fitting. They sacrificed there lives for us to have the religious freedom we have today. I am sure grateful for them!

You are living right in the middle of the heartland and the church history mecca of the U.S. How fun to be able to visit and enjoy all the history and sites for the next three years. MOM
