Idaho to Nebraska-here we come

Jordan and I rented a budget truck with a trailer to pull our car. Jordan and I packed the whole thing. People offered to help, but we wanted to pack the whole thing as tight as we could which would take time. We felt like we were playing tetras. We fit everything that the two of us own. As well as two new couches we picked up on the way out of town. (we got a great deal 499 for a loveseat and couch...we couldn't pass it up.) After packing up the car we had to clean our apartment for checkout. We barely finished as the manager showed up. We checked out and drove to Idaho falls. (The Hillams were watching Daniel so we could get it all done. A huge help)

Jordan and Eric left at 3:00 am with the truck and we (Grandma Hillam, Daniel and I) left at 6. We finally caught up with the boys at about 3:30 pm. We drove through fog, snow, hail, rain, etc... Who knew this kind of weather still happened in May. Daniel did amazing!!!! We only did gas stops and one stop for dinner at subway. He was super content with his toys and snacks....We pulled in at 11:30 Omaha time...So it was about 16 hours. Jordan pulled in at midnight. Which made it a 21 hour drive for him and he drove the whole way without switching off. I don't know how he did it!

They next day we spent unpacking and organizing. We got a ton done.  We love our new place! It is double the size from our last place. Daniel loves it and can run around. We live in a place called village Green. It is a bunch of townhomes. That were built in the 60's. But remodeled inside. The majority of the tenants are students with a few older couples. It so fun to walk outside and everyone is outside playing etc... Daniel is having and blast. We have a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath and a basement. There are a few things we want to fix to make it our own....but will do so with time.
