Jordan and I were in the living room catching up on some fox news, while Daniel was playing. He likes to play in the kitchen and pull out all the pots and pans etc... I knew he was playing with the drawer underneath the oven, he likes to pull all the cookies sheets, cake and bread pans out etc... It is loud, as you can imagine. However, this time there was a different degree to loudness. I go to check on out little man and this is what I found. He had pulled out all the pans and was inside the drawer. What a funny little guy.
What scares me now is that he might climb into the oven or something. Should I be worried? I make sure he is in another room when I put things in and out of the oven so he doesn't know it can open....wish me luck.

We don't let our little guy touch the oven just so he learns it isn't safe but it is still super fascinating. Maybe you'll figure some way to keep him away. I also think the baby gates are some of the best money you will ever spend with a toddler, good way to keep them out of that kitchen!
Mmmm.. baked daniel.... yummy
i would just be afraid he would get near it when it is really hot and could get hurt or burnt. but i know you keep a good eye on him so just keep on doing that :) love you, thanks for the chat today. i'm excited to see you tomorrow!
Not funny Tommy! ha ha
Yes - I would be worried! Remember when little Timmy was a toddler and he came running into the kitchen when we lived in Folsom. I had the oven door down just for a few seconds while I was turning pork chops and he fell onto the door and burned his hands. He received 2nd degree burns and had to have treatment for weeks. Daniel is a curious boy like most are so best to teach him not to play around the oven. These incidences always happens so fast and without warning or expectation. Good luck when he learns to CLIMB! hmmm.... Brianna is scared of the oven because one time she touched the side, while it was closed, and it was really hot. Now she runs away whenever I'm using it. But your mom's story is scary - so, better safe than sorry! Just bubblewrap his entire body til he's 5.
