The little things

This week has been a wonderful week for me. I have really noticed that it is because of the little things. Jordan and I evaluated the family goals we set from last year. We did pretty good. The things that we didn't do great at we made MORE specific goals to accomplish them. For example, we have set a time to do family scripture reading. It has made all the difference. Even though one of us is playing with Daniel while the other reads it works. No matter what is going on at that time it is dropped to read and have family prayer.

Along with our family goals we have set individual goals. I have also put a time on the goals that I can and it has sure helped. I have also been doing great with my working out. Jordan has been very supportive and comes home early so I can head to the gym. It has made all the difference in my day.

I am not posting this to boast or anything. I have just really recognized how we are super blessed by doing the little things. I seem to have more time and energy.

Way to go honey! You have always been goal oriented! How nice to have a hubby that is sensitive to your needs and helping you make the time to exercise. Exercise is my favorite outlet - it is great for our health and emotional wellness. It produces the natural endorphines to keep you healthy and happy. I love to hear that you are making the time to read scriptures as a family. A great habit to cultivate in your young family. Before you know it Daniel will be reading! I love you, MOM
