One of my goals this year is to try a new recipe each week. I have several cook books but I would rather get some from friends and family. If you have a moment I would love to get a favorite recipe of yours for dinner. Thanks!

Swiss Chicken
6 Chicken breasts (raw) cut in bite size pieces 1 reg. can of cream of chicken soup 1 cup apple juice 6 slices of swiss cheese 1 package Chicken Stove Top Stuffing 3/4 cup of butter, melted
Mix cream of chicken soup and apple juice together. Add chicken. Pour into 9x13 pan and add cheese on top ( I use more than 6 slices of swiss cheese so I can cover the whole mixture). In a separate bowl, combine melted butter and dry stuffing mix. Pour mix over top of swiss cheese. Bake at 350F for one hour.
I find the chicken easier to chop up when it is not quite thawed out, but almost there. Good luck!
Cream Cheese Chicken Croissants (My family calls them chicken pillows)
-8 boneless, skinless chicken tenders or breasts -8 ounces cream cheese -1 can of 8 crescent rolls -1 can of cream of chicken soup salt pepper
Preperation: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Fill a large pot with water and put all of the chicken in it to boil.
Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the water and place in a large bowl. Shred the chicken with a fork.
Add the cream cheese to the chicken while the chicken is still hot. Mix it all together and add salt and pepper to taste.
Unroll the crescent rolls. Scoop an eighth of the mixture onto the fat end of the crescent roll. Fold the corners in and roll up so that the chicken mixture is completely rolled up and covered up by the dough. Do this for all 8 crescent rolls.
Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Take out of oven and let cool for about 5 minutes.
In a saucepan warm up the soup as a sauce to put on top of the croissants.
Eat it on top of rice and...voilĂ ! You have one of my favorite dinners! It seems like I am leaving something out, but I can't get ahold of my mom to double check, so I will let you know if I did.

Enjoy!
I just tried Tommy's recipe....it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
Call Applebees and make reservations.
Totally kidding. Restaurants are a huge waste of money.
I really like the allrecipes.com site because you can read reviews from other people and see how they tweaked the recipe.
I'm not much of a cook... but I do enjoy my crockpot veryvery much. Look up crockpot recipes on that site.
